Robot handling grinder
This handling system allows users to process a wide range of products.
- Task: To develop a handling system capable of loading different products into a grinding machine.
- Solution: A product holder is provided for each product, which can be swiftly and easily changed via a rapid-release function. A six-axis robot retrieves the product from the holder and places it in the grinding machine. After grinding, the robot takes back the product from the grinding machine and puts it back into the pick-up.
- Result: The product intake guarantees self-sufficient operation for at least eight hours. Product nests can be easily exchanged via quick-release clamps, which also reduces the set-up time.
