M-Tech Systems GmbH developed lens assembly alongside its micro-mirror assembly work.
Here, on a rotary indexing table, the receiving lens and diamond window are mounted and fixed in the module housing of a laser rangefinder in clocked rotation at ten stations. There are plans to process two types of devices, whereby different module housings are mounted on a common carrier system. Two units of the same device type can also be processed simultaneously. The module housings can be replaced without any modification. The receiver lens and diamond window are installed in the module housing by hand. The receiving lens and diamond window are then glued to the module housing using a UV-curing adhesive. The adhesive is applied by means of a three-axis linear system and also functions as a sealant.
